The role: To establish robust, reliable, and scalable data sources
Responsibilities will include:
- Review and analyse existing and potential new data sources on documentation usage/quality.
- Provide recommendations on an initial data model to support ongoing analysis and reporting of documentation metrics.
- Setup the ETL pipelines required to have the data available, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Engage with engineers & engineering managers to better understand documentation use cases.
- 5+ years of experience in data roles as a Data Analyst/ Engineer
- Expertise in SQL, using modern big data systems like Redshift, Presto or Spark
- Expertise in a scripting language (Python or R)
- Experience in data warehouse modelling
- Experience building data pipelines.
- A basic understanding of development best practices, including Source Code Management, CI/CD, and Environment management.
- Tech industry experience will be viewed as highly desirable
