TwoScots are currently partnering with a large & well-known organisation in the Energy industry. The business is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team. The role will involve end to end accounting tasks, operational accounting, engaging with stakeholders as well as adding value in terms of process improvement & leading projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- End to end financial accounting
- Understand key business drivers and provide insights to key stakeholders to assist in decision making.
- Add value in terms of process improvement & automation
- Prepare and review month-end accounting requirements, balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, journals and consolidated entries.
- Provide leadership and coaching to team members
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.
- Must be CA/CPA qualified
- BA in Accounting or equivalent
- 5 + year's experience as a Financial Accountant
- Previous experience working for a Top Tier public practice would be highly regarded
- Previous background working in the Energy industry would be highly regarded
- Able to adapt to a changing environment & meet strict deadlines
- Must have proven experience in process improvement & systems automation.
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
