Our client is a market leading global manufacturing, sales and distribution company based in SE Melbourne. Due to consistent growth & an APAC restructure, they are looking for an energetic HR Adviser to join the ANZ business on an initial 12 month contract. The company has a global footprint with a strong brand name in both Australia and abroad, with operations in over 40 countries.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager - ANZ you will be required to partner the Victorian operation. They are looking for someone who can juggle multiple tasks and projects within HR. Key responsibilities include:
- First point of contact for general HR enquiries
- Build relationships with leaders and people managers
- Provide coaching and support to the management team to drive high performance
- New employee onboarding & compliance
- Back up support to the recruitment team
- Support the WHS requirements
- Performance management
- IR/ER
- Succession and retention planning
- RTW coordination
- HRIS maintenance & process improvement
Preferred Experience
- The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience as a HR Generalist within the Australian workplace.
- You will have a commercial background, ideally partnering across a an FMCG, manufacturing or sales and distribution company.
- You will have a degree / diploma in HR or related discipline - preferable
- Capability to plan effectively, prioritise and to deliver in a timely and efficient manner
- Outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work with people on all levels in the business
- Ability to multitask in a highly pressurized environment
