Formula for Success
As Senior HR Advisor and reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you'll provide advice to leaders on performance, case management, operational support and implement strategic HR initiatives. You'll work closely with all members of the HR team (locally and regionally), contributing to innovation and improvement in HR services and programs across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
This role includes leadership and development for a HR Coordinator which will be your direct report.
You'll:
- Provide expert advice on performance management, industrial relations (IR) and employee relations (ER) matters.
- Identify people gaps, resourcing requirements and trends impacting performance and recommend solutions.
- Lead complex case management at all levels, providing advice and guidance to leaders.
- Develop and review HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
- Participate in business change management programs and initiatives including acquisitions, mergers and restructures.
To be successful in this role, you'll have the natural ability to build strong trust-based relationships with stakeholders of all levels, with the aim of building the capability of our leaders. You will have extensive experienced handling performance management related situations, IR / ER matters, complex employee matters and employee disputes.
You'll:
- Hold a degree in Business / HR related discipline.
- Have strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment law.
- Be highly organised, detail and service oriented, adapt easily to change and committed to excellence.
- Conceptual thinking ability to identify solutions to complex business, customer and environmental challenges.
