Your new role
Report to the Head of HR and the MD, you will be responsible for a specific client group of circa 100 employees and support them in all people matters, operational and strategic. You will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle and build strong working relationships with the leaders and wider business. You will work with a very passionate, driven, high-performing team and leaders, and the culture reflects this.
As this is a Business Partnering style role, you will cover all areas of:
- Employee relations and performance management coaching
- Advising on HR policies, processes and employment legislations, modern awards
- Talent management and advising on talent development
- Performance reviews
- Remuneration reporting and reviews
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding
- Diversity and Inclusion projects
- HRIS - system implementation project delivery
- Leadership coaching and supporting the MD in executive and business strategies
- Assisting with the implementation of any new people programs or initiatives throughout the year as well as the engagement survey
What you'll need to succeed
- An ideal position for someone who is a seasoned HR Business Partner who is looking for a more senior level role, or an HR Manager in a stand-alone role for an SME and would like to step up and join a team
- You will be experienced in managing your own workload and being able to work independently
- You will be across all areas of ER/IR and have a track record of coaching on performance issues and advising on awards, EBAs etc
- You will be fast-paced, agile and be able to think outside the box
- You will have excellent influencing skills, have experience of working with and for Executive Leadership Teams
- Youw ill have experience of project delivery
- This is a creative and fluid business environment, so ideal for someone who has a more agile mindset and who thrives in a less structured business.
- Experience of working in a media creative or design related sector would be wonderful but it is not essential
- You must have worked in an SME, small to medium-sized business previously versus large corporate
Must have local Australian HR experience and have full working permanent rights (sorry no WHV).
