AddressAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior ICT Service Officer with the Northern Territory's largest electricity provider.
Our client is the largest electricity producer in the Northern Territory. They own 596 MW of installed capacity and contract an additional 5.1MW from independent power producers. They own and operate eight power stations and 65 generating units, including a battery energy storage system in the Northern Territory.
We have been engaged to assist with recruiting an experienced Senior ICT Service Officer based at the Berrimah HQ in Darwin.
What will you be doing?
- You will manage the provision of technical and operational advice and support to ensure ICT services and technologies are delivered effectively to meet the Corporations business requirements.
- Support business objectives and priorities by managing the provision of technical and operational ICT advice and support.
- Develop, review and manage the implementation of policy and procedures pertaining to mobile and other ICT technologies.
- Manage the provision of ICT technologies.
- Manage the provision of training and support to Corporation staff in the effective utilisation of ICT systems and technologies to meet their needs.
- Act as the advocate in promoting the use of self-service tools to access ICT services and provides guidance to staff regarding email, internet, and desktop support.
- Liaise effectively with all levels of staff, external service providers and IT specialists.
- Carry out duties in accordance with environmental and quality policies, safety principles, corporate values and strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Can effectively help users with ICT software systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including creative thinking.
- Capable in supervising and managing service delivery.
- Works well collaboratively, communicating effectively with various stakeholders.
- Can understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Proficient in setting up and operating ICT technologies.
- Knowledgeable about systems security and administration.
- Keeps up with current and emerging ICT trends.
- Able to align duties with safety, environmental, quality policies, and company values.
