Senior Manager, Lead Identity Architect

About the Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Manager, Lead Identity Architect to join our Identity and Access Management team within BOQ Group.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with Security Solution Architects to support the Cyber Security program, and other key projects across the organisation. You will play a key role in conducting technology impact assessments, creating Solution Overviews and High-Level Designs, and providing identity design oversight, including the application of Cyber Security standards to projects and solutions.

In this role you will also ensure that the BOQ’s Identity and Access Management strategy and roadmap are aligned with the Bank’s overall goals and objectives, leading the IAM team to ensure mature processes and practices exist.

About you

The ideal candidate for this role is an enthusiastic individual with over 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, including 3 years in a leadership role. Your expertise spans various industry frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO, Privacy, PCI-DSS, and APRA, with a keen understanding of Australian Financial Services regulations, particularly CPS, from a security perspective. Your hands-on experience encompasses Identity Management, Access Management, Privileged Access, Governance, SSO, Federation, Directory Services, and Enterprise Architecture, among others.

You are proficient in Sailpoint, CyberArk, Azure AD, and Active Directory, leveraging their expertise to design, analyse, and propose identity solutions tailored to the unique needs of finance and banking projects. Ideally you will be well-versed in Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycles, and adept at designing and implementing architecture frameworks with a focus on governance.
