About the role:
The Senior Manager, Organisational Development and People Experience is a strategic leadership role reporting to the Executive Director People, Culture and Transformation (PC&T). Leading a small team, they hold accountability for the strategic and integrated design of key programs to provide an exceptional People Experience, drive greater employee engagement and enable an inclusive and high performing culture.
This role has leadership accountability for designing and delivering solutions to ensure our people and organisation have the capability, capacity, and environment to perform today and to meet our future business needs.
Working closely with key business stakeholders and PC&T colleagues, particularly the People & Culture Business Partners and the Transformation team, they will define and execute a comprehensive Organisational Development and People Experience strategy that builds Culture, Leadership Development, Talent & Succession, Capability, Inclusion and Wellbeing.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand business context, strategic objectives and enablers as a basis for developing an integrated Organisational Development and People Experience strategy that uplifts organisational, individual and leadership capability and supports an exceptional employee experience.
- Provide leadership and direction, working with the Senior Advisor Learning and Development, to build and deliver a capability development strategy that embeds the DV capability framework and delivers innovative and effective learning solutions to meet our current and future business needs.
- Provide stewardship and leadership of culture and employee engagement frameworks, approaches, plans and measurement.
- Develop impactful leadership development experiences from Executive through to people leaders, aligned to our culture and strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure we are creating an equitable and inclusive workplace, providing leadership to the Senior Advisor, Inclusion & Wellbeing to ensure high quality, impactful and integrated D&I strategies, plans and programs and ensure DV is taking proactive steps to create a safe, inclusive and respectful organisation that supports employee wellbeing.
- Continue to mature our approach to talent and succession management as a strategic leadership activity that actively builds our talent pipeline.
About you:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Organisational Development, Human Resources, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in Organisational Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Culture and Employee Experience, or related field
- Experience with employee engagement. leadership development and capability development
- Experience in a complex, dynamic operating environment
- Experience with talent and succession management best practice and practical application
- Leading, coaching and mentoring skills
- Passion for continuous learning
- Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective facilitation of meetings and group workshops
