21st January, 2024 We are partnering with a not-for-profit healthcare organization to recruit a Senior Manager, Privacy and Records Management. Reporting to VP of People and Culture, you will be playing a crucial role in ensuring the organization's compliance with appropriate federal and provincial privacy acts, and overseeing the management of records and information assets. This is a hybrid position with 1-2 days per week working at their office in North York and the rest from home.Main responsibilities: Developing and implementing privacy policies, procedures, and compliance strategies, as well as optimizing Records Management practices; Collaborate with stakeholders to safeguard data Privacy and manage information assets effectively; Advise the Executive Leadership Team of new regulatory policies or legislation and facilitate the implementation of new or revised policies and programs to address them; Identify and assess privacy risks; provide advisory and consultative support to functions and risk owners to develop appropriate mitigation plans; Lead the investigation of privacy incidents to identify privacy breaches and support response through all phases of the incident response process, including privacy analysis, root cause analysis, development of appropriate mitigation strategies, and drafting and reviewing associated communications and reporting.
