This is equally a role where you will dabble in the day-to-day operations as well as being a pivotal leadership position where you can leverage your knowledge, skills and experience to mentor, guide and grow your team to be the best they can be.
Your new role
The primary responsibility of this role is to educate the public and enforce Council’s Local Laws and various legislative requirements relating to parking, animals, litter and bushfire control.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience leading teams in a government setting.
- Highly developed and focused leadership, coaching, feedback, conflict resolution and people management skills
- Experience in Bush Fire mitigation activities.
- Highly developed decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed technology, computer literacy and data capture/analysis skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to actively promote and enact the Town’s values and code of conduct
- High focus on customer service and education
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s license
- Current Senior first aid Certificate
- Current National Police Clearance
