What you’ll do:
The Senior Operations Workflow & Insights Analyst will assist the WooliesX Customer Fulfilment & Operations team to investigate business situations, identify options for improvement and define requirements to deliver results optimal to business outcomes. You’ll be instrumental to solutions that are both innovative and tailored to the unique operational demands of WooliesX.
You’ll play a pivotal role in streamlining operational tasks by creating workflow solutions (Preferably Low/No code app building). This role will maintain a database of activities to support the deployment & planning functions, and develop visual insights across the business to support our operations teams on the ground.
This role involves a close collaboration with the Operations teams to identify opportunities for improvement through analysis, insights and the development of solutions to ensure products for our team members are effective and relevant. The primary focus will be on automating processes to enhance business efficiency.
- Focus on automating complex tasks, reports, and manual work
- Utilise low/no-code app building tools, (Preferred within GSuite such as AppSheet)
- Manage a database of initiative programs through a combination of GCP and Google Sheets. Prioritising accuracy and performance.
- Perform ETL of varied data types to incorporate new data dimensions as needed.
- Develop tools and visualisations that are tailored for the Operations team, enabling users to create and ingest. Occasionally working with novel data types in project management/business cases.
- Ensure relevant teams are informed about activities in their respective areas through the management of deployment tools, dashboards, and automated update emails/comms.
What you’ll bring
This role is deeply embedded within operations, ensuring a thorough understanding of our business needs, and partnering closely with a variety of stakeholders; we are looking for an experienced analyst who can develop tailored solutions that directly address real-world challenges in the Store Operations domain.
- Stakeholder management: Work with business partners, ensuring alignment across the teams by managing expectations with effective planning and communication.
- Workflow Automation: Knowledge of javascript/python (or other comparable tools). AppSheet experience is preferred but not required.
- Database Management: Knowledge of database management, including SQL (advanced level), and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Data Analysis and Modeling: Ability to create and maintain large sets of data in a scalable way (activity by store, date etc)
- Proficiency in Analytical Reporting Tools: Skilled in tools like Tableau, Google Sheets, Looker, and report creation.
- Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret complex data sets to draw meaningful conclusions within business context
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges.
- Curious Mindset: Ability to actively participate in regular operational meetings to gains a comprehensive understanding of the broader business context - informing recommendations and new project ideas to continuously improve our ways of working
