We are in a massive period of growth and we are looking to appoint a Senior Payroll Officer to our Head Office Team.
Based in Adelaide, you will be leading the Payroll function and ensuring timely and accurate processing, reconciliation and payment of payroll, superannuation, and employment entitlement payments for both internal and labour hire staff. (In excess of 800 staff)
Duties include
- Ensuring the processing of weekly & fortnightly payrolls for multiple entities are made across various pay runs
- Commencing and maintaining staff details in the payroll system to ensure correct payment of salary and entitlements.
- Process roster variations and payroll adjustments.
- Perform all necessary payroll checks and controls, including Award interpretations
- Provide advice to Managers and Employees around wage payments, superannuation and entitlements ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
- Support continuous improvement and efficiencies in the payroll function
The Successful Applicant must have
- Experience in a complex organisation with large volume payroll
- Experience adapting to a complex and continually changing environment
- Experience interpreting complex Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail & strong customer service focus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
