Job Requirements:
- Deliver timely and accurate payroll services and support the fortnightly pay cycle
- Leadership skills and experience in advising in a payroll environment
- Ability to engage with stakeholders, confident decision maker
- Knowledge of Chris21 or similar HRIS
- Critical to the role, the candidate must be driven and proactive and able to integrate with the finance team
- Must have strong Excel and outlook skills
- Must have previous experience working in payroll, able to work in a fast paced environment and work autonomously
- Comfortable doing manual processing like timesheet entry, electronic filing and data entry
- Onboarding of employees and contractors
- Understanding of awards, enterprise agreements, HR and Payroll Governance
- Able to hit the ground running
- Worked in similar environment of working in a payroll team supporting a business of 1000+ employees
