Cedar & Stone Woodfired Pizza Bar is seeking a Senior Pizza Chef - one with the skills and experience to assist the venue achieve its Vision. The individual can work within our kitchen team led by our Executive Chef to run Our Wood fired Pizza Section, ensure exceptional Customer experience and deliver sound financial performance.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years experience as a professional chef and 3 years working with pizza, is energetic and can work in a busy, high volume restaurant. You are food safety qualified (HACCP supervisor), are an excellent communicator, display professional presentation/grooming and have a positive attitude.
Cedar & Stone has a history of high quality woodfired pizza done with an Australian flare. We work with very high hydration dough and require a competent dough maker as well as section head. Training will be provided but prior experience is absolutely necessary.

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to help promote Patron satisfaction through the delivering of high food standards and efficient catering operations.
• The ability to operate a woodfired oven efficiently to produce 200 pizzas in one service.
• Generate ideas that will build our reputation as an unforgettable Dining experience.
• Run a team of 5 people in the pizza section to collaborate efficiently and work clean and fast.
• Manage the pizza stoock, especially dough.
• Thoroughly assist in all WH&S training needs and procedures.
• Accept feedback from business owners and management to optimise quality and operations.
