In this role, you will report directly to Head of Product Services with Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB). You will responsible for the end to product management for Product Services including the application of withholding tax across products,, working with second line risk stewards to document business rules, prioritise and implement changes to tax rules (including FATCA and Common Reporting Standards), and ensure that changes to customer details at different lifecycle stages are correctly captured & maintained across various systems.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- End to end product management / lifecycle of the above Product Services across Deposits and Mortgage customers
- Review existing processes and implement improvements to simplify the process for both our customers and frontline staff and operations teams
- Distribution channel optimisation
- Ensure documentation of processes, global policies and procedures are in place and maintained. This includes the mapping of business processes with the appropriate controls and obligations
- Implement tactical process improvements to improve the customer experience until strategic solutions are available
- Maintaining key relationships with business stakeholders (marketing, digital, distribution, compliance and IT)
- Collateral management in relation to deposits products (forms and public website)
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or in a Finance and/or business-related field with relevant experience in a Product Management / Project Management function in financial services, preference for retail banking experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the external environment (risk, regulatory, political, competitors etc.).
- Thorough understanding of retail deposit operations, pertinent regulations impacting retail banking
- Excellent communication skills and proven stakeholder-facing experience, ideally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong, problem-solving, and analytical, skills
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
