AddressSenior Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with business and technical experience to lead and manage the delivery of website implementation projects for our digital agency. The ideal candidate will have ample experience as a Project Manager on both the business and technical side, and a strong understanding of website consulting, design, and development, as well as a desire to want to enhance the organisation's capabilities in project management through mentoring and knowledge sharing. The candidate will have a desire to want to support the growth of the business through exceptional delivery and stakeholder management. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while keeping clients happy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of website implementation projects for clients, working primarily with Adobe products, however, this is expected to extend to other products as client needs arise
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop a plan to meet those needs
- Ensure that project risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters and provide regular updates to senior management
- Ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage and report on project budgets, timelines, quality, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with other departments and functions to ensure that projects are integrated and aligned with the overall business strategy
- Provide exceptional customer service and stakeholder management
- Demonstrate diplomacy and tact when dealing with clients and team members
- Provide input to, and at times lead, the execution of client pitches including facilitating presentation inputs from cross-functional teams, answering questions relating to delivery execution approaches, apply critical thinking to the pitch process and client needs analysis, as well as feeling comfortable and confident presenting to clients to win work
- Mentor and develop project team members
- Contribute to the project management body of knowledge within the organization
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and provide recommendations for how they can be leveraged to improve the delivery of projects
- Understand and work with the development cycle, production release process, and testing process.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in project management
- Experience working for an agency as well as on the client-side
- Strong understanding of website consulting, design, and development
- Experience working with Adobe products is desired (Adobe Experience Manager, Target, Audience Manager, Analytics, etc.)
- Experience leading and managing complex projects in ambiguous environments
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile qualifications or equivalent experience
