Cancer Services at Metro South Health are looking for a Senior Psychologist to join their team. Deliver senior psychosocial & psychological care for adults with Cancer Services within a multidisciplinary team framework in alignment with best practice guidelines. Based at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH), the role provides services to cancer patients receiving cancer care at PAH and the Redlands Satellite Hospital, in collaboration with cancer teams at both sites. The role is part-time for 10 months.

About the Role
- Delivering high quality evidenced based independent psychology clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.
- Contribution to the advancement of quality psychology oncology services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
- Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
- Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
