The Role
Heaton Rail have an opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Consultant who is aspiring to grow their career into a senior leadership role. With Rail industry expertise in our DNA and a strong business foundation, this is a rare opportunity to bring your recruitment expertise into a supportive environment and ultimately lead the business into the future. Even if you have no experience in the Rail industry, as long as you bring your recruitment industry nous and genuine ambitions – we’ll teach you everything about Rail that will make you excel and succeed.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- 360-degree Recruitment (supported by Junior Recruitment Consultant/Resourcer)
- Account Management (existing customer base)
- Business Development (secure new customers)
- Relationship Management (establishing and forging long-term customer trust and ongoing business, along with all our contractors and permanent placements).
- Coach, mentor and support other recruitment team members
Our ideal candidate
- Strong experience as a Recruitment Consultant (any industry, although Rail and/or comparable industry ideal. e.g. Defence, Mining, Oil & Gas, Maritime, Road, Aerospace, Power etc.)
- Demonstrated Business Development experience – the ability to approach and secure new clients.
- Leadership experience and attributes, with a genuine ambition of managing a recruitment business longer term.
- Professional presentation and approach to all aspects of recruitment
- Discipline in database management and record-keeping
