The Child Protection Counselling Service (CPCS) forms part of CCLHD’s integrated Violence, Abuse and Neglect (VAN) Service, and is part of the Family Services clinical stream. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Social Worker for one of our senior clinical roles.
CPCS is a key therapeutic service working in the family preservation and restoration area, providing trauma informed, recovery-oriented interventions to vulnerable children and families on the Central Coast where children have experienced violence, abuse and neglect. Services are delivered in close collaboration with Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), with the focus of increasing safety, supporting children to recover from trauma, and for parents/carers to strengthen their parenting capacity and attachment, so children can safely remain with or be restored to their family.

You will demonstrate your practice skills in violence, abuse and neglect, with a particular focus on supporting children.
