About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Team Leader to oversee the health and well-being of our clients by delivering high-quality services in supported independent living (SIL) and community settings. The Senior Team Leader will be responsible for managing 6-7 houses located on the Central Coast.
The Opportunity
This role is Monday to Friday on-site.
As a Senior Team Leader, your responsibilities will include collaborating with participants to develop and implement individual support plans, as well as guiding and supervising direct support workers to achieve participants' agreed-upon support arrangements and goals.
Duties and responsibilities may encompass, but are not limited to:
Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders using a person-centred approach.
Managing a team of 50–60 support workers.
Ensuring effective communication with support workers.
Developing and implementing individual plans in collaboration with participants.
Meeting audit requirements.
Managing SIL Houses and the rosters of the support workers.
Ensuring the delivery of excellent client service, including the assessment of client care, goal planning, and the successful transition of new participants into our houses.
Conducting house and client audits to ensure compliance with NDIS legislative requirements.
Leading the implementation of company policies and procedures.
Maintaining client records and databases and ensuring accurate progress notes are reported by staff.
Managing client escalations and complaints to achieve high-resolution levels.
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Team Leadership role preferably managing SIL delivery.
Diploma in Community Services.
Current CPR & First Aid certification.
National Police Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check.
NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
Valid Australian Driver's License and access to own vehicle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certificate in Leadership & Management (would be beneficial).
