Diplomatik are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join the dynamic team of our client, experts in the production of state-of-the-art Elevated Work Platforms.
This position is full time and looking for someone start as soon as possible!
Field Service Operations:
- Direct, coordinate, and efficiently allocate field service jobs.
- Optimise labor utilization and minimize excessive travel in planning and distributing tasks.
- Communicate and implement planning schedules effectively within the field service team.
- Ensure Field Service technicians adhere to quality practices, servicing machines to customer expectations.
- Monitor housekeeping in field service activities and maintain a professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
- Report to the Eastern Region Service Manager regarding the professionalism of field service employees.
- Advise on the maintenance of service vehicles and ensure a high standard reflective of a professional business operation.
- Ensure the field service team understands good customer service practices.
- Maintain a scheduled service roster, contacting customers promptly when service is due.
- Consult with customers to develop service relationships and foster business opportunities.
- Coordinate responses to service calls, prepare and distribute quotations, ensuring all aspects meet customer expectations.
Service Parts & Administration:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Eastern Region Service Manager and Sales Representatives.
- Assist in creating workshop job cards and process parts and labor on job cards as needed.
- Handle phone calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate areas of the business.
- Actively promote the NSW branch when dealing with customers.
- Share information within the team, actively seeking opportunities to gain new skills.
- Ensure prompt and courteous service to internal and external customers.
- Assist the Eastern Regional Service Manager on service-related issues, conducting job costing and customer invoicing.
- Keep management informed of all business-related matters.
Safety:
- Participate in WHS training, identify, assess, and control workplace hazards.
- Follow safety instructions and use personal protective equipment as required.
- Report injuries, incidents, and hazards in accordance with procedures.
- Promote and ensure safe work practices with internal and external customers.
Quality:
- Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of all service documentation and administrative forms.
- Assist in developing Company Policy and Procedures.
- Observe and advise on the high standard of service, repairs, and maintenance work to reduce rework and unnecessary costs.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and ensure field service repair times align with procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
