Job description
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Service Coordinator to join our team at our brand-new site in Somerton.
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a highly valued and critical role in managing the running of the Workshop and responding to equipment breakdown and service needs.
This position assumes accountability for the performance of the Workshop with a focus on safety and effective staff management.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Overseeing the Service department and responding to equipment breakdown and service needs
- Preventative maintenance checks of our hire fleet
- Maintaining a good knowledge of our hire fleet to help find the best solutions for our customers
- Administrative duties including OH&S requirements, hire contracts, returns checks and invoicing where required
- General day to day yard duties
- Minor mechanical repairs and servicing
- Hours of work are from 7am – 5pm Monday – Friday and every second Saturday from 8am-12pm
Experience required:
Ideally you will have experience in a similar position including:
- Experience within the hire industry would be highly regarded
- Mechanical background
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
- A current driver's licence is essential
- Current Forklift licence
- Have the ability to assist around the yard with various duties
