Proudly Australian owned, Coates has a long history of supporting customers to deliver major projects and an exciting future focused on growth. We provide end-to-end solutions spanning Equipment Hire, Engineering Solutions, Industrial Solutions and Power & HVAC.
Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Service Coordinator(based in Beresfield) is responsible for coordinating a team of Field Service Mechanics within a designated service area and ensuring all breakdowns reported on customer sites are responded to and dealt with promptly and safety. You may also find yourself having to source repair advice over the phone in those times to assist our mechanics.
You'll enjoy variety in your role including:
• Allocating daily service tasks and coordinating long-term hire servicing to our Field Service Mechanics (7 - 10 Field Service Tech's)
• Assist with maintenance needs, financial constraints, and procurement of parts.
• Liaising directly with customers during potentially difficult or frustrating times
• Drive service efficiency and improvement project initiatives through the field service team
• Liaising with contractors for service and repair bookings
• Maintaining current jobs & closing off service calls
What you'll bring to the role
• 7:00 am to 3:06 pm
• Intermediate computer skills (particularly MS Excel and Word)
• An ability to self-manage your own time and workload accordingly
• The need to be detail and process orientated, able to understand maintenance processes and document them for our records.
• An appreciation of (or understanding of) the legal requirements (compliance) for servicing plant and equipment.
• Mechanical background will be highly regarded
