Job description

Our Enterprise level client is seeking a Service Desk/Desktop Support Engineer with excellent interpersonal skills to provide level 1 support to end users & triage with the Desktop and other support teams.

You will use your confident and clear communications skills daily as the first level of support to end users via an onsite Tech Bar within their office. Each day you'll get 'walk ups', emails and calls from end users within the building requesting support. Other duties will include maintenance of equipment such as laptops.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site Level 1 Support for all End User company devices and Workplace Technology.
  • Create, manage and triage Incidents and requests via the IT Service Management Tool (Service Now).
  • Assist with set up and configuring of company supplied end user devices, including Laptops and Mobile devices.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure consultative working relationship with customers/stakeholders
  • Keeping customers/stakeholders are up to date on status of requests/problems.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience Using ServiceNow.
  • 2 + years experience providing L1 Service Desk and Onsite Support.
  • Strong communication (spoken written) and customer service skills.
  • Experience with modern workplace devices, inlcuding video conferencing, mobile and laptop hardware.
  • Value team work and communication with your peers.‎
  • Demonstrated basic network troubleshooting skills.
