We are currently seeking an energetic and proactive Service Manager to join our team. The Service Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operation of Ausplow equipment and maintaining high product satisfaction.
Based in our Cockburn Central site, this position is a very hands on active role, where you will lead a team of service technician and travel to farm and conduct service work as required in various rural country areas in WA and over east.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Communicate with dealers, farmers, and other parties to address issues related to Ausplow equipment.
- Assist dealers and farmers by responding to product enquiries and provide technical solutions.
- Assess warranty claims in an efficient and timely manner working in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
- Coordinate and carry out service or warranty related work on the farm.
- Conduct dealer service training to improve product knowledge and competence.
- Provide staff training in service-related procedures, contributing to a skilled and knowledgeable team.
- Assist in research and development projects as needed.
- Attend Agricultural Machinery Field Days to represent the company and to build connection with potential and current customers.
- Support the production department by participating in machine assembly during quieter periods and to stay current with product knowledge.
- Assist in the production and review of product manuals to improve accuracy and practicality.
- Maintain and uphold our strong commitment to OH&S.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate should possess the following:
- 5+ years’ experience in active field service work as a Service Manager or Technician.
- Trade qualifications in Mechanical, Automotive, Servicing, or related field is a must.
- Agricultural industry background is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work in the office, shopfloor and travel to farm as needed.
- Problem-solving abilities combined with an optimistic can-do mindset.
- Outstanding proficiency in communication and high-level customer service.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics and Electrics is desirable.
- Current driver’s license a must.
