Service manager, experience working with Turbo machinery

Your new company 
A global leader within the power generation sector, supplying large industrial engines for the marine, oil and gas and manufacturing industries. Due to an internal promotion, this organisation is looking for a Service Manager in their Sydney branch. 

Your new role 
The Service Manager - Turbomachinery is responsible for:

Reviewing service enquiries for work shop and field service personnel

Preparing service quotations including cost calculations

Preparing and reviewing service activities, including ITPs

Maintain the highest standards for health and safety 

Developing and maintaining the capabilities of field service personnel and workshop activities through profitable growth 

Manage Industries workshop activities in Sydney and Perth

Establish high levels of competence in Industrial service personnel and workshops

Establish and maintain a strong network of relationships within the region and product centres

Effective planning and control of all operations to meet profit targets and satisfactory customer care

What you'll need to succeed 

Managing 3 service technicians  

Plan workshop service development activities in alignment with product centres

Liaise and plan service personnel qualification development with region and product centres

Provide and manage technical services for customers for workshops and field service activities

Planning and resourcing customer service requirements including quotations, repair and schedules

Liaison with product centre for technical support, troubleshooting, investigation and warranty issues management to customer satisfaction

Sales revenue and job management through job reporting, invoicing and review

Supervision of workshop and field service work and repairs

Plan and undertake customer visits to generate service opportunities

Provide input enabling finalisation of invoice for completed service work
