As a dynamic Service Manager, you'll be at the heart of our company's service operations, ensuring every day is about making a difference, solving challenges, and leading the team towards success.

Simplex is a family-owned and operated business that specialises in designing, installing, and servicing of lift equipment since 1976. Being the number one provider in Queensland for residential access and disability solutions means we need to grow our supportive team!

In a typical day with us you will:

  • Focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring that all scheduled maintenance and service tasks are completed on time and potential issues are proactively addressed.
  • Lead and inspire your service teams by supporting and mentoring technicians, optimising staff utilisation, and ensuring your team is motivated and working efficiently.
  • Engage with clients to provide timely quotations, manage feedback, and foster ongoing relationships.
  • Order parts, manage supplier relationships and coordinate various operational activities to keep our services running smoothly.
  • Provide essential technical support to your team, interpret drawings, and drive compliance with safety and quality standards. Your input will be crucial in identifying areas for innovation and improvement.

  • You're a natural leader with a proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • With your strong customer service orientation, you'll expertly handle customer interactions and resolve any issues, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Your technical skills are tailored to our industry, especially in reading drawings and understanding complex systems.
  • You're a problem solver who uses analytical skills to navigate challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Your excellent time management and organizational skills mean you can juggle various tasks with ease.
  • You're an excellent communicator, able to clearly convey complex ideas and engage with various stakeholders.
  • Your background includes experience in service management, team leadership and technical roles.
