Qualifications & experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in community management disability, nursing, human services, or social sciences/ or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in improving and supporting the quality of life of people with disabilities as outlined in the National Standards for Disability Services.
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with participants and stakeholders in the provision of support to the person with a disability Knowledge of NDIS and ability to network. Current NSW Driver’s License
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial information in line with service budget.
- Demonstrated ability to manage systems of work following policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work with a diverse team.
- Working With Children Check.
- NDIS worker's screening Check.
- Current NSW Driver’s License.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
Tasks & responsibilities
- The Service Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring our service's smooth and efficient delivery.
- They lead teams to provide exceptional support and deliver high-quality, person-centred active care.
- Building strong relationships with our customers is a key aspect of their role.
- It's important for them to have a good understanding of the NDIS practice standards and to ensure compliance.
- They actively listen to and understand our customers' goals and care needs, working in close partnership to meet these needs.
- They implement best practices to deliver services, ensure WHS practices, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- They should have excellent time management and conflict resolution skills and be able to mentor the service team.
