Our client is a global market leading manufacturer and supplier of various components, power units, automation components and systems to cater for the mining and industrial sectors.
Due to growth, we're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Service Supervisor to join their team. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the actives of the services team to maintain customer satisfaction and meet the organisational and operational targets. This role will suit a team player who enjoys working in a busy and fast-paced environment.
The role:
- Quote, coordinate and oversee all Field Service activities
- Drive service sales opportunities through customer visits and upselling of service and products such as maintenance contracts.
- Ensure department targets are achieved
- Ensure quality (Lead time, customer feedback, Quality action list, calibration, testing and tagging, certification, tool listings, etc.)
- Ensure Employee Training (competence management) is up to date
- Supervise employees, contractors and visitors as required from HSE and Quality perspective
- Ensuring all HSE procedures are followed, and all incidents are reported accordingly.
What we’re looking for:
- Supervisory experience
- Certified Hydraulic fitter trade or equivalent
- 5 years field service or hydraulic system experience
- Competent level of hydraulic knowledge
- High focus on Quality and attention to detail
- Dynamic performer and achiever
- Planning and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work throughout Northern NSW region with the potential for overnight work weekly or fortnightly
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
