To support our continual growth, we are searching for a Shutdown Superintendent to join our Site Services team. This permanent position will be a FIFO role from Perth.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Managers, the successful candidate will be required to manage shutdown teams on specific projects and ensure that works are progressing safely and according to deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Liaising with clients and management teams to build relationships
- Ensuring that safety is being adhered to the highest standard
- Pre-shut scoping of allocated works ensuring adequate time and resources are available for safe and successful execution
- Adhering to contractual and company KPIs
- Ensuring the team have all the required tools and information to complete the works to the highest standard
- Post-shut close out, including project reports, timesheets and assisting with invoicing
- Mechanical trade qualification
- At least 5 years’ experience in a mining or shutdown environment
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance and/or commissioning of bulk material handling equipment (i.e. crushers, apron feeders, scrubbers, belt filters, pumps, etc.)
- Experience in liaising with clients and meeting deadlines
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position in a mining or shutdown environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Microsoft Project exposure is desirable, but not necessary
