Melbourne Disability Services are seeking an experienced & dedicatedTeam Leader to join our expert staff on full-time basis.
You will be required to:
- Oversee the daily operations of our Supported Independent Living Homes
- Establish support plans and risk assessments for participants that reflect the participants needs and goals
- Ensure restrictive practices reporting is completed within the required time frame and to the required authorities e.g., NDIS, DHHS
- Working collaboratively with all client’s families, teams, and external stakeholders to facilitate positive outcomes for people requiring highly complex, individual support services.
- Liaising with support workers to deliver supports inline with support plans
Skills, experience and qualification
- Significant experience with NDIS and management expertise
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in service quoting, understanding the NDIS Price Guide and SIL quoting process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships
- The ability to handle sensitive client matters discretely, display empathy and maintain confidentiality
