Job Purpose & Scope
The Site Administrator plays a crucial role as a valued member of our on-site team. Operating in remote locations throughout Australia, you will oversee the administrative duties essential to project management.
- Document Control: Manage contracts, plans, and specifications.
- Coordination with Stakeholders: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors at all levels.
- Project Progress Tracking: Monitor project advancement and provide updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Financial Monitoring: Oversee project finances, including invoice coordination, expense tracking, and budget monitoring.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure project adherence to relevant regulations, including building codes and safety standards.
- Logistics Coordination: Arrange construction site logistics, including deliveries, equipment rentals, and site access management.
- Administrative Support: Assist the construction team with meeting scheduling, minute-taking, and communication management.
- Site Staff Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for all site personnel and communicate requirements or changes to head office as needed.
- Timesheet Management: Monitor and maintain timesheets, ensuring timely submission for approval before forwarding to the payroll team.
- Health and Safety Oversight: Raise any health and safety issues or concerns with the Health and Safety team.
- Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process for site staff, ensuring correct procedures are followed before employees attend the site.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail and proficiency in data review and analysis
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills
- Capacity to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Sound understanding of construction processes and terminology
- Proficiency in utilising project management software and tools
