Site Cost Controller

We are looking for a Site Cost Controller to join the Major Operations team on an initial 12-month assignment. with our client that specializes in Mining Industry.

Position: Site Cost Controller
Period: 12 months
Location: Perth (FIFO)

Job Responsibilities:-

• Review and consolidate project data, update and monitor cost curves and perform scheduling when required.
• Support project reporting and package engineers on cost status inquiries and reports.
• Track and analyse all costs across the business, consistently conducting regular reviews and audits.
• Review and adjust project control guidelines, procedures and reports.
• Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed.

Candidate must have:-

• Experience working in a mining & resource environment, ideally in a FIFO capacity.
• Previous experience in controlling package cost from a portfolio type project environment.
• Team player, strong forecasting and change management skills.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written.
• Ideally a tertiary qualification in Finance, Business Management and/or relevant discipline is beneficial.
• Support project reporting and package engineers on cost status inquiries and reports.
