Electrical Site Manager

The Site Manager provides hands on support for the day to days operations and management of site projects for the business with quality assurance at top of mind. Taking ownership of all worksite responsibilities and committed to meeting all objectives, the Site Manager’s experience, and knowledge, make them an integral part of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Operations Manager, implement and deliver projects on time, in budget and in scope
• Work in line with the financials of the business
• Responsible for monitoring and adhering to site budget
• Work hand in hand with the Operations team to ensure all client expectations are delivered
• Meet with external stakeholders to ensure clear communication throughout the site works and to rectify any raised issues
• Coordinate the day-to-day site activities in line with strategic direction
• Continue to provide effective communication and feedback throughout the project lifecycle
• Review revised drawings with the Design Team for current projects
• Liaise with the Design Team on any Documentation Changers
• Assist with manuals for completed projects
• Ensure any defects at the end of the project are attended to
• Responsible for the site management function of the project including consulting, approvals, and budget
• Approve all site time sheets and follow up any discrepancies
• Submit EWR’s and liaise with supply Authority’s.
• Follow up EWR’s with supply authorities/retailers and builders to ensure all offers are in place and the smooth transition between site temporary power and permanent power is achieved
• Manage the relationship between ASI Electrics and all external contractors engaged to conduct services
• Work with Procurement & Supply Chain Manger to ensure correct ordering of materials for site
• Sign off all supplier deliveries and invoices
• Ensure all OHS practices are being adhered to and raise any issues to the HSEQ & Compliance Coordinator
• Identify risk within the site and communicate to appropriate parties
• Undertake all site toolbox meetings
• Ensure any paperwork on site is brought back to the office for processing

Coordination & Leadership

• Collaborate with the Labour Planning Coordinator to ensure adequate and appropriate resources in place
• Ensure employees and subcontractors are working in line with ASI processes and SWIMS
• Responsible for the ongoing development and training of direct reports
• Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports
• Accountable for performance of direct reports
• Ensure company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to
• Assist with employee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
