The Role | Day-to-day tasks and responsibilities:
- Travelling predominately across south-east Melbourne, measuring stone finishes for projects
- Reading and interpreting plans and drawings and using the latest digital technology to measure (Proliner and laser).
- Liaising and corresponding with terrific clients and site managers. We do quality work and work for quality people.
- Preparing and sending detailed CAD drawings to our draftsmen
What we are looking for in your profile:
We are looking for a talented person with a minimum of 3 years of experience in measuring as a full-time templator. Digital measuring is preferred but not necessary as we provide onsite training.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role or work environment, i.e. measurer, stonemason or cabinetmaker. Desirable attributes include;
- Experience within the stone or joinery industry
- Ability to read plans and use a tape measure.
- Basic computer skills
- White Card
- Drivers Licence
- Good written and verbal communication skills and fluent in English
- Self-starter and works well with minimal supervision
