Site Services Co-Ordinator

Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a forecasted 10+ year mine life producing over 200,000 Au Ozs for the first five years of production. Construction of the mill has recently been completed, with first gold pour completed in CY Q4 2023.

Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks the project in advance of underground production. The operation is an industry stand out with strong financial and ESG metrics underpinned by the exceptional grade of the project.

The Bellevue Gold Project is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.

The Site Services Coordinator is responsible for the management of staff and contractors associated with the maintenance and optimisation of all non-processing infrastructure.

This role will ensure all work programmes under their direction are conducted in accordance with company standards and core values whilst maintaining strict compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements.

The Site Services Coordinator will report to the Processing Maintenance Superintendent and will be engaged on an 8 day on and 6 day off roster.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Ensure a safe work environment through incident/accident reporting, high standards of housekeeping, safe work procedures and active involvement in BGL safety programs and meetings.
• Providing leadership and mentoring to the Site Services team that supports the business strategy and PACE values.
• The development of training and succession plans for ongoing development of all direct reports.
• Implementation of maintenance strategies for non-processing infrastructure and equipment.
• Working with the Processing Maintenance Planners to maintain compliance to CMMS protocols.
• Ensuring availability of water for all departments and stakeholders across site surface operations.
• Management of waste water across site surface operations.
• Management of contractors involved in the repair and maintenance of all surface facilities and infrastructure.
• Village maintenance in accordance with agreed battery limits between BGL and the village management contract.
• Budget preparation and cost control by monitoring expenditure and accounting for variances.
• Manage staff rosters for effective labour coverage.
• Provide daily and month end reports and other reporting as required by the Maintenance Superintendent.
• Other associated duties as directed by the Processing Manager or alternate.

Qualifications, Key Skills, Experience and Competencies

• Trade experience on a mine site (desirable).
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
• Working at Heights, Crane Operation, Rigging, Dogging, and Confined Space. (desirable)
• Immunisation against Tetanus and Hepatitis A& B. (or willingness to obtain)
• Sound understanding of NPI maintenance & operations.
• Knowledge in statutory safety and environmental requirements relevant to NPI and mobile equipment.
• Proficient level of knowledge in computer literacy, Pronto and MS Office.
• Solid awareness of Maintenance Management Systems and maintenance planning practices.
• Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.
• Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
