Form of workThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join our team as a Social Media Assistant.
Bydee was born of a love of detail and design at our Founder’s family kitchen bench in her teens. Recognised for its attention to detail and feminine touches, Bydee’s developed a cult following of Bydee Babes across the globe.
The Social Media Assistant reports to the Social Media Manager and will work closely with the broader marketing team to support all Social Media marketing activities for the brand in line with the overall marketing strategy and plans.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the Social Media Manager to create content for key Social Media channels through graphic design, photography and video editing
- Supporting the Social Media Manager with day-to-day posting on our Social Media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other relevant platforms
- Supporting the Social Media Manager with influencer management, including placing orders for gifting, creating affiliate decks for new collections and invoicing our affiliate partners
- Supporting the Marketing team with ad briefs across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok & Google ads
- Community management through Bydee’s Social Media accounts
- Ownership of the Bydee Store Instagram account, including creating the post content and schedule
- Assist the Social Media Manager with analysing, reviewing and reporting the effectiveness of owned and earned Social Media campaigns on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis
- Supporting the marketing team with copywriting that is used across Social Media, eDM and website campaigns
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Social Media marketing and researching competitors and industry benchmarks

Experience
The ideal candidate will have foundational experience using video editing apps such as CapCut, InShot and/or are familiar with video editing within TikTok. Experience in content creation is preferred and knowledge of all Social Media platforms is essential.
