We are looking for a dynamic social media and content gun with at least 3 years of experience to come in and manage TripADeal's social media channels, with a specific focus on Facebook and Instagram. Our ideal candidate is both content-driven but commercially focussed - they live and breathe writing the perfect caption but also successfully increasing website referrals and growing an engaged social community. They have a great understanding of the broader marketing environment and how social media as a channel fits within the ecosystem.
Joining our Marketing Team, this role is a Permanent Full-Time office based position reporting to our Marketing Manager. You will execute a results-driven social media strategy by assisting in the development and curation of engaging content across TripADeal’s social media platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Researching target audiences and their social media behaviour and trends
- Execution of a results-driven social media strategy.
- Staying in the know and keeping abreast of the social media and digital marketing space to stay on top of developments and industry news
- Assist and contribute to the development of the Social Media strategy in line with the broader marketing strategy and focus.
- Creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
- Maintaining the TripADeal brand across all social media channels.
- Analyse performance daily and provide reporting on channel engagement and performance
- Consistent focus on the role and team key performance indicators
- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries when required
- Proactively suggest new and creative ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Proven work experience as a Social media coordinator
- Advanced knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram
- Direct experience using social media management tools
- Experience working with Google Analytics
- Ability to adopt and champion the TripADeal brand identity
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
- Excellent communication and time management skills, ability to multitask and work to short deadlines.
- Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, specifically social studio preferred
- Email marketing experience will be looked at favourably
- Passion for travel and knowledge of the industry.
