About this part of our organisation:
Our Zinc Assets in Australia include multiple & geographically dispersed operations, including underground and open pit mines, processing plants and port facilities. Additionally we have operations across Asia, North and South American continents and Europe. Brisbane is home to our corporate office which is where this role is likely to based, although we would also consider Townsville and Mount Isa if that was a preference.
About your new position:
Your key purpose will be to provide a link between the Human Resources, Payroll and Information Technology functions to support and further develop the HR ERP systems ensuring it continues to meet the business needs.
The role will also assist with identifying training and change management requirements and improvement initiatives for the Human Resources and Payroll functions.
To deliver on that purpose some of your responsibilities will be to:
  • Act as the single point of contact.
  • Provide business solutions and support for the Human Resources and Payroll function for any Human Resources related systems interfaces.
  • Ensure a consistent and fit for purpose configuration.
  • Assist with testing of new/changed configurations.
  • Proactively locate and correct potential problems and implement improvements.
  • Create functional specifications for future development requirements.
  • Maintain blueprint and support documentation.
  • Complete user acceptance and integration testing,
Our expectations are you have:
  • Either tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated ability.
  • Detailed understanding of integration of Human Resource and Payroll systems.
  • Prior experience with UKG and large ERP HR systems (such as SuccessFactors).
  • An understanding of organisational change management principles.
  • Project management skills with an ability to deal with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
