AddressOur client is a well-established Sporting Club that has been open for over 30 years in the Pilbara region and they are now seeking a full-time, permanent Sporting Club Manager to join their close-knit, friendly team.
As a Manager of a Sporting Club you will be responsible for all aspects of bar operation for the club. You will be the manager of the liquor license and will be required to administer, enforce and obey the law in relation to the liquor licensing act, Club Constitution and House Policies. The role has flexible working hours and would be an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious individual.
What you'll be doing:
- Planning, booking and supervising bar and function services.
- Supervising security arrangements and property maintenance.
- Assist the committee with member subscriptions.
- Observing liquor, gaming, health and other laws and regulations.
- Ensuring compliance with the occupational health and safety regulations.
- Organising the distribution of forthcoming events information to members.
- Assessing and reviewing member satisfaction and preferences.
- Liaising with community groups sponsored and assisted by the club.
- Selecting, training and supervising staff.
What you'll need:
- At least 5 years’ experience is preferred but not required
- Proven club, bar and hospitality experience including staff supervision
- Experience in business/service marketing and development
- Sound financial management skills including budget management
- Excellent Communication skills
- Current unrestricted approved managers license
- RSA Certificate
- Short course in Liquor Licensing Certificate
- A National Police Clearance
- Current drivers’ license
- Experience in MYOB or similar POS system
- Proficient with MS Office
