Our team has an exciting opportunity for a full time, hands on, dedicated and dynamic Staff Engagement Business Partner based in our Northgate Office.
This role will suit an individual who thrives in a fast-paced and reactive environment. Working closely with the Operations and Safety team, you will have previous experience in a casual blue collar working environment and oversee HR matters across Queensland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the “HR life-cycle” including Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management and Employee Retention.
You will thrive on developing strong relationships with your stakeholders and be comfortable working autonomously completing the below key tasks:
- Partnering with managers and supervisors on workforce and people management
- Support and guide managers and supervisors with workforce planning, performance management, dispute resolution and overall Staff Engagement
- Preparation of data sourcing and compiling reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating workforce planning requirements for clients ensuring compliance with their induction processes and systems
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar role
- Qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred
- Exposure to a blue-collar industry with union interaction
- Enterprise Agreement interpretation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sound problem solving skills
- The ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and solutions driven with tasks
- Solid computer skills including the ability to learn new systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management with a customer service focus
- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
