Staff Engagement Business Partner

Our team has an exciting opportunity for a full time, hands on, dedicated and dynamic Staff Engagement Business Partner based in our Northgate Office.

This role will suit an individual who thrives in a fast-paced and reactive environment. Working closely with the Operations and Safety team, you will have previous experience in a casual blue collar working environment and oversee HR matters across Queensland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the “HR life-cycle” including Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management and Employee Retention.

You will thrive on developing strong relationships with your stakeholders and be comfortable working autonomously completing the below key tasks:

• Partnering with managers and supervisors on workforce and people management
• Support and guide managers and supervisors with workforce planning, performance management, dispute resolution and overall Staff Engagement
• Preparation of data sourcing and compiling reports for both internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinating workforce planning requirements for clients ensuring compliance with their induction processes and systems

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar role
• Qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred
• Exposure to a blue-collar industry with union interaction
• Enterprise Agreement interpretation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sound problem solving skills
• The ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and solutions driven with tasks
• Solid computer skills including the ability to learn new systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with a customer service focus
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
