The position encompasses a blend of cattle mustering on horseback, farm work, and a variety of day-to-day property maintenance tasks. Our client manages a family-owned and operated farming enterprise, overseeing 4,000 head of cattle on 30,000 acres. Their farming practices incorporate both dryland and a 700-acre portion of irrigation.
They manage a diverse cattle herd, consisting of Santa, Hereford, and Angus breeds, raising the weaner cattle to the feeder stage, with a strong commitment to continuously making improvements to their properties.
