Station Hand

We are a family-owned mixed farming and grazing operation with properties in Texas Queensland.

We have a full-time position for a Station Hand at our 1700ha property of productive grazing country, located 20 minute drive North of Texas.

We are looking for a responsible and respectful team member who is keen to further their industry skills and experience. 

Duties include cropping development, rotational grazing, planned stock rotations, pasture management, plant, and infrastructure maintenance.

This opportunity would be ideal for someone looking to develop their experience on a cattle operation and is eager to learn from experienced staff and grow their agricultural career.

The candidates will ideally have the following:

Experience working with livestock with a passion in progressive and modern farming.
An enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude to work
Excellent communication skills
A great team player
Good all-round skills regarding livestock work, farm maintenance including plant, machinery, vehicles and yard maintenance.
Responsible attitude and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time.
