Toro Engineering is a Civil / Structural Engineering Consultancy that leverages mutual relationships with like-minded associate companies to successfully deliver Multidiscipline Projects to our Clients’ requirements. Our strength lies in our technical experience, commercial acumen, agility, practicality and our extensive network of relationships to deliver a one stop shop for all our Client needs. We work across the Resources, Energy, Renewables, Non-process Infrastructure, Commercial and Industrial markets capitalising on the diverse strengths of our staff. Formed in 2020, the Toro Engineering leadership team bring together our staff’s extensive experience and networks to deliver successful outcomes for our Clients. Toro Engineering provides support through the complete project life cycle and work for a range of Clients including Constructors, Fabricators, OEM’s, Operators, Shop Detailers and Consultants.
Qualifications & experience
- Degree qualified Structural Engineer with CPEng status or working towards CPEng Status with 5 to 10 years design experience
- Minimum 4 years structural design experience in the Mining and NPI sectors.
- Demonstrated competency with Space Gass and Australian standards. Working knowledge of Strand 7 an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Permission to work in Australia
Tasks & responsibilities
- Prepare design calculations and reports for Mining, Renewables, NPI and Industrial projects
- Carry out site investigations and associated reports
- Prepare engineering sketches and overview drafting resources
- Effectively communicate and discuss design solutions with our Clients
