Jaybelle Care is a small, neuroaffirming disability provider that provides Support Coordination and direct support services to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator to join our team on the Central Coast, NSW, to assist with providing individualised support to our NDIS participants. This will be a 4-month maternity leave cover position, with the possibility of an extension.
About You
We are looking for a self-motivated and driven team member with great organisation and relationship skills to join our team. You must be able to demonstrate experience within the community and/or disability services sector and have a strong understanding of the NDIS and National Disability Standards. You must be able to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively to meet the needs of the participants.
You must have the following skills:
- Confidence in building relationships
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Be able to prioritise and manage your time effectively
- Be willing to travel to participant's homes on the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Support Coordinator or working in a relevant role
- NDIS Workers Screening Check, or willingness to apply
- Working with Children Check, or willingness to apply
- Appropriate work from home set up
- Eligibility to work within Australia
