- Manages the day-to-day operations of the client's hosting environment by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair. Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained. Applies revisions to host system firmware and software. Works with vendors to assist support activities.
- Maintain efficient IT workplace (desktops/laptops) for all employees within the country.
- Active member of regional workplace and infrastructure product teams.
- Support and maintenance of any local systems running within the office (LAN/WAN, Fileserver, Anti-virus, back-up/restore, local applications and infrastructure, etc…)
- Participate in Local, regional and Global IT projects.
- Develops tools, procedures, and training sessions for Operations, Client Support and Systems Development staff to assist with work.
- Manages the data centre and computer host systems including hardware, software and equipment such as air-conditioning system, UPS (uninterrupted power system) and fire protection system.
- Develops new system implementation plans, custom scripts, and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability. Trains technical staff in how to use new software and hardware developed and/or acquired.
- Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources.
- Develops procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse.
- Planning, executing, and overseeing IT projects. Create detailed project plans, manage budgets, coordinate team members, and serve as a liaison among stakeholders. Additionally, troubleshooting issues and ensure project success.
- Collaborate with a global team, with occasional training during overseas business hours (5-6pm).
- 3+ years of system administration experience - operational knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Microsoft Intune
- o Manage users and devices compliances.
- o Administer endpoint applications.
- o Creating and deploying Intune policies
- PBX Administration
- Cisco Protocol and networking
- Server hardware and backups
- Microsoft Active Directory & Microsoft Azure
- Cisco Meraki
- Teams Telephony & Mobile Device Management
- Building Access Control System
- Proven ability to multi-task, meet timelines and work autonomously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate preferrable or other cloud phone system administration experience.
- Networking Certification such as Cisco Meraki certification or CCNA
- Project management certification (Prince2, AgilePM or CAPM) is highly desirable. Or proven ability to run projects end to end with cross departmental projects.
