Position Overview: As a Contract System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, operating, and optimizing our ICT infrastructure, with a focus on the Microsoft Azure public cloud platform. You will also administer Wintel servers, manage the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) including SCCM and Intune, and possess capabilities in network engineering. Additionally, you will develop disaster recovery plans, conduct testing, and oversee data center management. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, operate, and optimize our ICT infrastructure, with a specific focus on the Microsoft Azure public cloud platform.
- Administer Wintel servers, ensuring their reliability, security, and performance.
- Manage the Standard Operating Environment (SOE), including SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), Intune, and other related tools.
- Utilize network engineering skills to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure components.
- Develop disaster recovery plans, establish testing regimes, and conduct testing to ensure the resilience and availability of critical systems and services.
- Oversee data center management activities, including monitoring, capacity planning, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain IT solutions that meet business requirements and security standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in system administration and cloud computing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in managing, operating, and optimizing ICT infrastructure, with a focus on the Microsoft Azure public cloud platform.
- Strong experience in administering Wintel servers and managing SOE tools such as SCCM and Intune.
- Capabilities in network engineering, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in developing disaster recovery plans, testing regimes, and conducting testing.
- Knowledge of data center management best practices, including monitoring and capacity planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSE: Core Infrastructure, or equivalent are highly desirable.
