Talent Acquisition Lead

- Build partnerships with external recruitment / sourcing agencies and leveraging government workforce initiatives;
- Showcase our EVP and leverage social media, external forums and networking opportunities;
- Optimise the efficiency and impact of our end to end attraction and selection processes;
- Ensure the candidate experience matches our intentions and values;
- Play a key role in the national rollout of our new recruitment (HR) system;
- Ensuring compliance with all employment checks and mandatory requirements;
- Deepening TA skills across our hiring managers;
- Oversee technology that supports effective TA processes.
- Ensure high quality Talent Acquisition business support and processes
- Report on TA compliance and activity; take targeted action based on report insights
- Develop a high performing, responsive, engaged and valued team
- Drive or support nominated People & Culture projects
- Ideally, tertiary qualification in a HR or other related field
- Essential: minimum 3 years recent experience in a recruitment function, including experience in workforce sourcing activities and bulk recruitment
- Certifications in psychometric testing and/or experience job sizing would be an advantage
- Strong internal customer service skills and ethic
- Candidate management / database management / talent pooling experience
- Strong planning and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail
- An appetite for using data to improve results
- Knowledge all processes related to candidate work rights and visas
- Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge of, relevant Acts, Awards, processes and protocols and working knowledge of National Employment Standards
- Intermediate to Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite and other technology including recruitment IT systems, reference checking systems, contract issuing systems
- All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory National Police Check conducted by Care Connect and a valid Working with Children Check provided by the applicant, as requested.
- A statutory declaration is required, confirming residency in a country other than Australia. Depending on the information provided an international police check/s may also be required.
