About the role:
Due to our increasing pipeline of work, we have created a new role for a Talent Coordinator based out of our Barton Office in the ACT. The role will report directly to the Head of Talent and candidates seeking both permanent and part time work are encouraged to apply. This will be a diverse role and would be perfect for someone with a client relationship, customer service or talent acquisition / recruitment background.
The ideal candidate is:
- Proactive and can work independently, keeping your supervisor informed.
- Able to ask clarifying questions and remain curious about how to improve current processes.
- Comfortable working at a high operating tempo with great time management skills.
- Good at managing changing priorities.
- Collaborative and thrive in a team environment,
- Comfortable with both face to face and video briefings.
- Outcome focused and prepared to roll their sleeves up and help the people around them.
- Someone with recruitment experience, either agency or internal. This is not essential but a nice to have.
- Someone with a high attention to detail to work on administrative tasks that will be repetitive.
- Someone who possesses a good phone manner with great rapport building skills.
- Someone who is not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them.
- Highly competent in MS Office, Outlook and preferably in SharePoint.
- Someone with a good sense of humour ( non-negotiable )
Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Provide recruitment support services to internal Hiring Managers.
- Responsible for ensuring our Applicant tracking system, HR management system and internal CRM database is up-to date.
- Manage the talent acquisition Inbox
- Posting adverts ( you will be provided training in this )
- Assist with telephone screens of shortlisted and preferred candidates.
- Schedule interviews and ensure meeting rooms are booked
- Reference checking and CV/background checks.
- Assist in the formatting of CVs for submission to clients
- Ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process by providing excellent candidate service.
- Assist with the onboarding process and security requirements for candidates.
- Provide general support across the People & Culture team as required.
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested by senior management.
