Form of work Job Description Reporting to the Tax Manager, the Tax Accountant will form part of the Group Tax team in Australia. The person will play a key role in ensuring tax compliance and will contribute to precise financial reporting, effective tax planning and risk mitigation. A key focus will be with Perenti's group tax effect accounting.Key responsibilities Tax effect accounting for the group including half-year and annual reporting; Preparation and timely lodgement of all Australian tax compliance obligations including income tax, BAS and FBT returns; Maintenance of the Australian tax fixed asset register; Ad-hoc tax projects across the Perenti Group; Tax budgeting and forecasting process for income tax expense and cash tax paid; Assisting with the implementing of group tax procedures; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance tax compliance and process efficiencies
